Workshop Reception Role

Join Ace Automotive, a fast-paced and friendly workshop environment where no two days are the same. We’re looking for a full-time Automotive Workshop Reception to be the key link between our customers, service team, and technicians.

What you’ll be doing:

Welcoming customers at the front desk and handling enquiries with professionalism and care.
Working closely with the Service Manager to schedule and allocate workshop jobs.
Managing reception and phone calls, relaying accurate information to customers and team members.
Entering job data, preparing invoices, and completing other sales administration tasks.
Procuring stock and parts to ensure smooth job completion.
Coordinating inwards goods and workshop logistics.
Supporting the team with a variety of workshop and customer-focused duties

We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience in the automotive industry (preferred but not essential).
Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Is confident, well-presented, and enjoys helping customers.
Has strong communication skills and a great phone manner.
Is accurate, detail-oriented, and efficient under pressure.
Can multitask and switch between admin and customer service roles with ease.
Is comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Familiarity with Orion/Sam System is a plus, though full training will be provided.
Holds NZ residency or a permanent work visa
